Booking policy
At The Island Home, we want your booking experience to be clear, safe and simple. By making a reservation with us, the guest accepts the following conditions:
Reservations
Reservations can be made through our official channels, such as our website, WhatsApp, phone call, email or social media. All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed once our team verifies the dates, room type and number of guests.
Booking confirmation
To confirm a reservation, the guest must provide the requested information, such as name, contact number, check-in and check-out dates, number of guests and any details required to manage the stay.
In some cases, an advance payment or guarantee may be requested to secure the reservation. The booking will only be considered confirmed when The Island Home confirms it through one of its official channels.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in and check-out times will be informed when the booking is confirmed. Early check-in or late check-out must be requested in advance and will be subject to availability.
Booking changes
Changes to dates, number of guests or room type must be requested in advance. All changes are subject to availability and possible rate adjustments.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be communicated through the hotel’s official channels. Refund or advance payment retention conditions, if applicable, will be informed when the booking is confirmed.
No-show
If the guest does not arrive on the agreed date and does not notify the hotel in time, the reservation may be cancelled. If an advance payment was requested, it may be subject to the cancellation conditions previously informed.
Rates
Rates may vary depending on season, special dates, holidays, availability, room type and number of guests. Every rate will be confirmed before completing the booking.
Guest responsibility
The guest agrees to provide accurate information, respect the hotel’s internal rules and use the facilities properly during their stay.
Privacy and terms of Use
At The Island Home, we respect and protect the privacy of our guests and visitors. Personal data received through forms, WhatsApp, phone calls, email or booking processes is used only to answer inquiries, confirm availability, manage reservations and provide our accommodation services.
We may request information such as name, phone number, email address, stay dates, number of guests and any details required for guest registration or invoicing, when applicable.
We do not sell, rent or share personal data for commercial purposes. Information is used only for booking management, guest service, administrative processes and compliance with legal obligations in Ecuador.
By sending a message, completing a form or making a reservation, the user authorizes The Island Home to use their data only for the purposes described above. Users may request the update, correction or deletion of their data through our official contact channels.
